Registration for the Training Week of the CRC 1211 is now open

Registration for the Training Week of the CRC 1211 is now open until July, 31st.

The Training Week of our CRC 1211, organised by the IRTG, will take place from October 5th to October 9th, 2026, at the Seminaris Hotel Bad Honnef, Germany.

This event is designed to provide an enriching environment for doctoral candidates to present their research, engage in stimulating discussions about the CRC 1211 topics, and network with peers and experts in their fields. 

Programme:

We warmly invite all interested IRTG and CRC members to participate in this training week. To foster scientific exchange between CRC 1211 members and researchers from outside the CRC, we have reserved some limited spaces of participation for external students and scientists. Details regarding the application process will follow soon. All CRC members are encouraged to spread the word to colleagues and potential participants. Accommodation and catering will be provided at the venue and fully covered by the CRC. There is also the possibility to apply for financial travel support for researchers and students from our main focus areas (Chile and southern Africa).
