Short abstract with content covered during RTD:
During a hike in the Laacher See region, we introduce how to recognize volcanic/pyroclastic rocks and different local plants in the field.
Previous experience: none
What you need to participate in the course:
Bring hiking gear, suitable cloth for the forecasted weather conditions, and food/beverages for the day, no lunch will be provided
Maximum number of participants: 25 (first come, first served).
PhD candidates of the CRC have priority to participate. Left spaces can be filled up by interested Postdocs of the CRC (write an email beforehand, if interested).
