Short abstract with content covered during the workshop:
This interactive workshop introduces key principles and practical tools for effective science communication. Participants will learn how to craft clear core messages, use visual storytelling, and develop their own communication strategy. We will explore how to engage different audiences and make research more accessible, with a special focus on the opportunities and challenges of social media. Through hands-on exercises and feedback, participants will gain confidence in sharing their science beyond academic circles. Prior knowledge from the accompanying e-learning module will be built upon during the session.
Previous experience:
Completion of an e-learning course before the workshop (duration: approx. 8 hours) introducing science communication, which will be made available after successful registration.
